This untitled piece ventures into Carlos' conscious as she struggles with the overbearing grief of the death of her mother. During the creation of this work, Carlos' house was in the process of being renovated. She did not fully get to know her mother however, the house became a connection to her mother and the sparse memories that she had of her.
The jug is constructed from blankets in her house and clothes she got rid of during the renovations. The jug itself is modeled from ceramics that her mother created fake floral arrangements in that were being disposed of due to wear.
